Alpacaville

About Alpacaville

Alpacaville is a Suri alpaca farm on Mahanna Road, just outside the village. Owned by Shauna and Dan Anderson, the farm is home to alpacas, mini pigs, and chickens, and it’s open for visits most of the year.

The on-site store carries alpaca fiber goods made right on the farm, at a fiber mill, through a co-op, or sourced fair trade from the countries where the breed originated. You’ll find hats, mittens, fingerless gloves, blankets, and more.
Farm visits are educational and hands-on. You’ll learn about Suri alpacas, their fiber, and how it’s used, and depending on the time of year, you may be able to feed and interact with the animals directly.

Shauna also holds a certificate in animal-assisted therapy, activities, and learning. The farm has welcomed groups from schools, nursing homes, mental health organizations, and more for structured visits and programs.
